

Venus Bay
- A coastal village, 5km west of Tarwin Lower, offering five superb surf beaches on Bass Strait. From the Fauna Viewing Tower at dusk watch kangaroos grazing near mangrove flats along tranquil Anderson inlet. Enjoy self-guided bushwalks among the ti-tree covered dunes in the Cape Liptrap coastal Park (at Point Smythe). Find the state's longest sand split. There's a Community Centre and there's fun and challenge for the young at the Surf Life Saving Clubhouse.

- Venus Bay provides a choice of activities, surf and river finishing. Good surf beaches; No.1 beach is patrolled by the Life Saving Club members during summer months.
- Beach No. 5 is unofficially a nudist beach (from the car park walk to your rig 500 meters plus away from the clamed people. The locals are pretty tolerance but cautious must prevail
- For the more passive person a relaxing afternoon strolls along the beach and experiences the spectacular sunsets.
